One price per head
Every package covers the Barn for the evening, canapés from our kitchen and a drinks package, all served by our staff. There is nothing to hire separately and nothing to bring.

The place
Historic Rivermill is a heritage farm on the Coomera River, with a café, horse riding and farm animals, at Mount Nathan at the foot of Tamborine Mountain. The Barn, our rustic event space with its own dance floor, sits within the property.

Six canapés to start, then a seated main with two sides. Plates of chicken and of steak are set out alternately along the table, so guests can swap.

Children are $25 each: chicken or fish and chips, and a juice.
Good to know
Classic selection: prawn cones, vegetable spring rolls, bruschetta, smoked salmon pâté, coconut prawns, mushroom arancini, lamb croquettes and prawn toast. Premium bites: beef, fish and karaage chicken sliders, lamb and tom-yum beef skewers, and tempura oysters.
Classic: a welcome drink on arrival, a choice of two wines and three beers, a sparkling toast, and water and juice all evening. Premium: the same with three wines, four beers and premium sparkling. Non-alcoholic: juice, water and soft drinks, with a non-alcoholic toast. All drinks are served by our staff, so no outside alcohol.
Add an animal encounter or a horse show by our riding team, so everyone does something together rather than only stand and talk. Tell us what suits the group and we will build it in.
A refundable bond holds your date and is returned after the night. December fills first, so enquire early.
Before you book
At Historic Rivermill in Mount Nathan, at the foot of Tamborine Mountain. The Barn is held for one group a night and has its own dance floor, and the packages include the food and drinks.
Add an animal encounter or a horse show by our riding team, so the group does something together. Later in the night, the Barn's dance floor is yours.
Each package is one price per head that covers the Barn for the evening, the canapés and the drinks, so there is no separate venue hire fee. The prices are in the packages above.
The Christmas packages are built for larger groups. For a smaller gathering, our adult party packages give you the Barn or the Red Tables for a daytime celebration.
No. The food comes from our kitchen and the drinks are served by our staff, who are trained in the responsible service of alcohol.
Yes. The packages run by arrangement at other times of year, so tell us the date you have in mind when you enquire.
